Family Camping Trips

Pack 97 will usually plan at least 3 family camping trips per year. Camping typically starts Friday evening and ends with a Sunday morning Scout's Own Worship Service. Boys and family are encourage to attend ANY part they can of the camping trips. Some may choose to just spend the day Saturday and leave after the campfire program, others may chose to skip Friday nights, but stay Saturday. Blue & Gold Banquet

The blue and gold banquet is a birthday dinner typically held in February for the Cub Scouting program. Boy Scouts of America was organized in February 1910 and the Cub Scouts was organized 20 years later in 1930. The Blue and Gold Banquet is one of the highlights of the program year. It is also our goal for all scouts to achieve their rank advancement during this celebration. Therefore, it is also a family affair that brings our entire group together in a way that regular pack meetings don't. It is an evening of fun and celebration for all!

Bridging Ceremony

At the end of the year, we will have a bridging ceremony. This is when the scouts will move up to the next level.  Tigers will bridge to a Wolf Den, Wolves will bridge to a Bear Den, Bears will bridge to a Webelos Den and Webelos 2nd Year Scouts will bridge to Boy Scouts. It is also a weekend full of celebrating the scouts and their accomplishments throughout the year.
