Pack 97 Camping Equipment List

The Boy Scout Motto - Be Prepared.

Required:

• Tent
• Sleeping bag
• Flashlight
• Mess Kit or Dinnerware (& Coffee Mug if applicable)

Optional:

• Clothes (just kidding - bring what's appropriate for the season)
• Uniform - Scouts and Leaders are required to wear their uniform for some events at camp outs.
• Old T-Shirts
• Old shorts
• Old jeans
• Air Mattress
• Toiletries/personal hygiene products
• Personal First Aid kit
• Spare set of shoes, socks, and underwear (nice to have for you and your kid - especially when they've been playing by the creek and "slipped" in.)
• A folding chair for you (if you're an adult) - kids aren't stiff yet and can sit on the ground.
• Religious material
• Book

Nice to have:

• Fan(s)/Heater(s) for your tent
• Spare set of clothes for when everything is soaked/dirty (you and your kid)
• Personal camping equipment you can share with the Pack (a stove, a coffee pot, a wagon, a big bucket of twine, hammer, axe, etc.)
• An extra tarp.
