Shiloh Students - Back to School
For all our students still in Shiloh Elementary – Welcome Back to School! Since our pack is now split between both a traditional and year round school schedule; we will not be moving out of our summer schedule or doing a our new scout recruitment for the 2008/2009 scout year until mid-September. We will continue to keep you posted as to what other activities and meetings are scheduled via this newsletter and our website.
Carolinas Aviation Museum
THIS SATURDAY - August 2nd is our scheduled trip to the Carolinas Aviation Museum. Our tour is scheduled from 10am-Noon. Please plan to arrive about 9:45am. This tour is indoor/outdoor and they ask that you dress for an outside field trip; they recommend shoes and socks – no sandals or flip flops. Since part of the tour is outdoors – if it is raining that day, we may need to reschedule. A pack email will be sent in case of rainout.
For this event, please wear your yellow Pack 97 shirts. Admission for each scout and/or child is $2; adults are admitted free. They do also have a gift shop with items ranging from $.25-$8. There is a picnic ground on site where you can watch the plans take off and land; so please plan to bring a lunch and join us for a picnic after the tour! The address and directions are listed below or you can visit their website at www.carolinasaviation.org for additional information.
