Veterans Day - Den Meeting Change

Our November 11th den meetings will be replaced with a Flag Retirement Ceremony to be held at the VFW in Indian Trail. All scouts are expected to attend, no exceptions.  Plan to meet there at 6:45 in full Uniform.

Food Drive

Thank you so much to everyone who helped with the Food Drive!  Especially in light of the current economic situation, the two trailer beds FULL of donations were quite a blessing for us to be able to share on behalf of Christ Community Church and our Pack.  We know it was a long day for the boys (and parents) and we all really appreciate how awesome you did!  THANK YOU!!!!!!

Bass Pro Shops/Outdoor Games

Registration is now closed for Outdoor games. We do not yet have a confirmed campsite – yet Kathy Sharman should be there to greet you as you check in J  She has graciously offered to stay on channel Walkie-Talkie with our site so we can communicate back and forth when you arrive and where we are at!   If you are arriving Saturday morning – opening ceremony starts at 8am.  Plan to arrive early (mainly to avoid the rush) and you can join us for breakfast!  We will not know more about where we are or our schedule until the Leaders Meeting on Friday night.

It looks to be cold and possibly wet!  Hooray!!!  Bring your rain gear and heaters J

Below are some important reminders:

  1. No open toed shoes are allowed!  Be sure and wear COMFORTABLE shoes – you will be doing a lot of walking!
  2. Mugs – in order to keep down on the trash and waste that accumulates from cups used during a campout – we ask that everyone try to bring their own reusable cup/coffee mug/etc to use throughout the weekend.  It will also make it easier to remember which drink is yours!
  3. Bring your uniform for Saturday Evening Campfire program
