Indian Trail Christmas Parade

A follow up to Adrienne’s email: If anyone has stuff to donate for the Christmas float, please bring it to this Tuesday night’s den meeting. Whether it is gift wrap, boxes, lights (battery powered), snow, etc. They are hoping to put together the fireplace and tree as well as make Santa Hats, garland, and wrap “gifts”. They would appreciate any help you can provide during the meeting.

The Indian Trail Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday November 30^th. The parade starts at 2pm; please plan to arrive at the starting location between the First Citizens Bank and Post Office Drive in Indian Trail at 1:45pm in full uniform. We will not know our exact position until we arrive – so look for us in the line when you get there. A sign up sheet will be available this week for those scouts and parents who will be able to attend.

Monkey Joes

Our next Pack outing will a trip to Monkey Joes on Saturday December 6^th. Monkey Joes is all about kids having fun, jumping, sliding and playing in the best indoor playground in town. We have a time slot reserved from 9am-noon. They do not open to the public until 10am, so we will have the place to ourselves for the first hour! Scouts will be paid for by the Pack and they will also receive 1 slice of pizza and a drink. Parents are admitted free of charge – no concessions. If you have siblings who would like to attend their fee will be $8.70 (+ tax – I believe) and will also include the pizza and drink. (Regular admission without concessions on the weekends is $9.99/child). We will be posting a sign up sheet for this event as well. Holiday Party

The holidays are fast approaching! We will be celebrating the holiday season as a Pack on Friday, December 12^th at 6:30pm at Christ Community Church. We will be combining the party along with the Pack Meeting for the month so will have lots to celebrate. We will be providing the meat and will be assigning dens potluck portions of the meal: deserts, drinks, sides, etc. Once we have determined the den assignments, there will be sign up sheets to make sure we don’t wind up with 10 of the same vegetable J

Popcorn Information

Popcorn Sales have now officially ended! Because everything we order from council must be done on a case basis – we have a few additional items available now and a few more will be available in December. If you are interested in purchasing any of the following, please email Amy this week:

November Dues

Just a reminder that the first of 6 dues payment is now due. These are $10 per month and due at the first den meeting of the month. Please see Amy if you have not already made your payment.

Though most who ordered shirts picked them up prior to Gold Rush – we still have a few of the ordered shirts and sweatshirts available for pick up.
