Pack Meeting This Week

Just a reminder this week is our final Pack Meeting.  Please complete payment for any outstanding dues tonight.

Troop 276

After bridging, several of our advancing Webelos will be following in the steps of our beloved Webelos graduates from last year into Troop 276.  Throughout the next year, Troop 276 will be doing several fundraisers to help send as many of their scouts as possible to the 100th year Jamboree.  The first fundraising event will be a Car Wash this Saturday, May 2nd at Advanced Auto Parts on 74 from 9-1.  Paul and Ryan will be attending our Pack Meeting tonight with additional details on this and other events (including a Yard Sale at the Green Hut on June 13th) they have coming up.  All events will be staffed by the scouts that will be attending the Jamboree.  Any events you can participate in to help these scouts be able to go to Virginia would be greatly appreciated.

Giving back to Christ Community Church

Next week during our regular meeting time we will be working on outdoor projects to give thanks and give back to Christ Community Church in appreciation to them for allowing us to use their facilities and support us throughout the year.  Please bring any landscaping tools, shovels, rakes, gloves, etc for you and the boys and wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty.  We will be mulching, weeding, planting, etc.

Bridging Ceremony/Sleeping with the Cows

Our Bridging Ceremony is scheduled for the weekend of May 8th-10th at Optimist Park in Monroe. This is the culmination of our scout year and where are scouts either progress in rank within the pack or as Webelos transition into Boy Scouts.  This is an extremely important event for your scout and one you will not want to miss!

Location

Those of you who attended our first campout & boat regatta; this is the same location. Essentially, it is at the intersection of 601 and 74. Go one block to the shell station and turn onto the gravel farm road into the woods, literally right next door to the Shell Station, amongst the cows.
