All new and returning scouts and parents need to attend this important kick-off meeting.  There have been changes to our required equipment, dues and activity fees which will be reviewed at this meeting.

We have also been limited to 60 scouts for our facility, therefore, it is extremely important that if you are planning to remain active with our pack yet cannot attend this meeting you notify Anthony Irwin at cubmaster@pack97scouts.com prior to the meeting so we can include you in our total.  An activity will be planned to entertain scouts during the meeting.

CPCC TRAINING FOR LEADERS AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Saturday, September 26th (all day) – CPCC Levine Campus

Future and returning Den Leaders and Committee Members  - please mark your calendars!  CPCC Levine Campus in Matthews will be hosting their annual all day “Scouter Success Seminar” on Saturday, September 26th, 2009.  This is a wonderful opportunity for those who might be interested in advancing their scouting knowledge and leadership skills PLUS, it is loads of fun.  More information will be available at the Leaders Retreat this Saturday.  You may also visit the website www.mcctraining.org.  Otherwise, please contact Anthony Irwin or Karen French for questions or more information.
Please note:  Youth Protection Training certification is only good for 2 years. It is mandatory for all adult leaders and committee members to have this certification current before the scouting year begins.

LEADERSHIP POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE – WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Several of our leaders from this past year will be moving up a rank along with their sons for the coming year.  Some of our leaders have also regrettably had to withdraw from positions for the next year….so, please consider donating your time and participating more fully in the pack by volunteering for either a leadership or committee position in the coming year.  Either email or call Anthony Irwin, Karen or Amy with any questions
