The Weekly Newsletter of Cub Scout Pack 97Throughout October How’s your popcorn sale going??? Last week Karen handed out order forms, pack goals, prize information, pick up and delivery dates and much, much more! We are a very active pack and have a lot of fun activities planned for the rest of the year; however, these activities and our budget depend on a certain amount of fundraising to make it happen. Our goal is for each scout to sell at least $200 worth of popcorn to complete our scout year as planned. Please plan to participate in any way you can! If you did not receive popcorn information; please see Karen. Leader Meeting Wednesday, October 7th at 7pm There will a Leader meeting next Wednesday October 7th at 7pm at Indian Trail Family Fun Day Saturday, October 10, 2009 In order to help offset some of our popcorn fundraising goal; we will also be selling drinks & snacks at the Indian Trail Family Fun Day. This event reportedly had over 3,000 visitors last year! In addition to drinks and snacks we also plan to have a small game set up to attract visitors! We will need at least 2 teams (1 parent and 1 scout each – in uniform) to assist with this booth throughout the day. Karen will have a sign up sheet (broken into hour long shifts) and additional details available at the den meeting. We realize this will conflict for any Tiger Scouts attending the Tiger Cub Field Day; though really would like to see as many other scouts as possible participate. Scouts will receive a special bead for their participation.
